Expressions of Interest - Director of Industrial Strategy​

The Ministry of Urban Development is looking for open-interest submissions to the role of Director of Industrial Strategy. Please be advised that this is not an application, but a way to allow people to indicate that they would like to be considered for the role.

The Director of Industrial Strategy will be working across both MUD Departments.

Expectations for the Director of Industrial Strategy

• Deputy Ministers are expected to:
  • Remain consistently active through their tenure where possible.
  • Manage employees in their purview and collaborate with the Minister in regards to hiring and firing.
  • Be accountable to members of the public and the government.

Responsibilities of the Director of Industrial Strategy

• It is expected that the Director of Industrial Strategy will:
  • Manage the assignment of Industrial inspections.
  • Ensure Industrial Inspectors are trained and aware of Industrial rules.
  • Take ownership of logging Industrial inspections and ensure all Industrial reports are properly recorded.
  • Be the Ministry's central point of contact on all things Minetorio
