Amendment to the new criminal code act.
Preamble: Amendment the criminal code act to add slander, repeal the Anti-Slander Act.
1. Author and Title
(a) This act shall be known as the "New Slander Amendment", this bill was written by Biscuit Cookie.
2. Amendments
(a) This shall be added to the new criminal code act under the "Crimes Against Persons" section.
(l) Slander
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: A minimum fine of $50 at the discretion of the courts
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) Makes false and damaging statements about another.
3. Repeals
This bill shall repeal the "Anti-Slander Act" in full
Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage.
