This is the official thread for the election of the Parliament in Azalea Isles At-Large, occurring October 17-24, 2025. For information on the position and process of government, refer to the Constitution of Azalea Isles. In accordance with the Election Map Requirements Act, the electoral districts are as follows:



As a result, Parliament has determined the following districts:

• At-Large District: five seats
• 1st District: one seat
• 2nd District: one seat
• 3rd District: one seat
• 4th District: one seat

The Parliament consists of 9 seats in total, in accordance with legislated requirements.

In order to run for office, you need to:

• Be a citizen of Azalea Isles more than one (1) week prior to the electoral period.
• Have a cumulative playtime of at least twenty-four (24) hours and a monthly playtime of at least ten (10) hours at the time voting opens.
• Be not convicted of any crimes with adjudicated punishments that disqualify them from public office in accordance with the law.
• Live in the district they are seeking office in.

If you are running on behalf of a party, please ensure you have the permission of the party to run under their banner.

RESULTS

Nine seats were up for election, with four districts for four seats, and one At-Large with five seats. In the At-Large, each voter had a maximum of five votes to cast. Voters who did not meet the minimum requirements were removed from the count.

At-Large District:

Turnout: 23 total voters
Verified Voters: 22 total verified voters
Election Format: Proportional representation. In proportional districts, voters will still vote for candidates, but all votes received by candidates of a party will be totaled up to be that party’s number of votes. That, as a percentage of the total number of votes, will be used for seat allocation. Once the number of seats each party should receive is determined, the seats each party has won will go to the highest vote getters within that individual party.

Election Calculation:

• GAP received 56.58% of the overall vote, whereas ARP received 43.42%
• As a result of these total party votes, GAP is entitled to 2.82 seats and ARP is entitled to 2.17 seats
  • In seat allocation, once the solid numbers have been allocated, the highest decimal point is selected. This rounds the final seats being GAP entitled to 3 and ARP entitled to 2.
• GAP's entitlement to 3 seats means that the top 3 candidates with the most votes in their party win. ARP's entitlement to 1 seat means that the top 2 candidates with the most votes in their party win.
