Preamble: The minimum wage act is an inefficient way to provide workers a proper safety net and prevent exploitation. The figures are arbitrary and not based on anything, its language can get unclear at times however there is an essential problem with it that cannot be ignored. This bill potentially hurts workers, if an item has a higher inventory cost than 50% of its sell value, in situations such as this instead of buying anything the store will refuse to take any goods thus meaning the worker misses out on a potential money making opportunity.
1. Short Title
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Repeal the Minimum Wage Actt”.
(b) This bill was authored by Robi Safran D'Azalea
2. Repeals
(a) Repeals the Minimum Wage act in its entirety
Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage
