Establish a Resolutions Process and Amend the Parliamentary Procedure Act​

Preamble: To provide Parliament with a dedicated mechanism for expressing non-binding opinions, requests, and recognition of individuals or entities, thereby enhancing the procedural flexibility of the legislative body.

1. Short Title
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Resolutions Act.”
(b) This bill is authored by Lil Digi.

2. Amending the Parliamentary Procedure Act

(a) Adding “18. Resolutions” to the Parliament Procedures Act as follows:

18. Resolutions

(a) Parliament may pass non-binding resolutions to express opinions or make formal requests towards an individual, entity, or nation.
(b) Resolutions shall follow the same proposal, formatting, and voting processes as bills outlined in the Parliamentary Procedure Act.
