TO
AMEND THE GOVERNING STRUCTURE ACT​

Preamble: For far too long, the Ministry of Social Services and Ministry of State have had natural synergies, while unnecessarily dividing the manpower by having two separate ministries. Therefore we will be combining the Ministry of State & Ministry of Social Services into the Ministry of State Services (MoSS) to better utilize government resources.

1. Short Title and Enactment
(a) This Act shall be named the “State Services Act.”
(b) This Act comes into force immediately upon passage.
(c) This Act was authored by Bezzergeezer.


2. Transition Clause

(a) The Ministry of State Services is the lawful successor of both the Ministry of State and the Ministry of Social Services. Upon enactment of this Act, all extant references in law to the Ministry of State, Ministry of Social Services, or abbreviations thereof (MOS or MOSS) shall be read to refer to the Ministry of State Services. This includes, but is not limited to, such references in the following acts:

• Public Defender Program Act
• Governing Structure Act
• Integrated Property Regulation Act
• Adoption Act
• Inheritance and Succession Act
• Inactive Requisition Act
• Death Act

3. Amendments

(a) The Governing Structure Act shall be amended as follows:

10. Social Services
(a) This act maintains the Ministry of Social Services which shall primarily be charged with:
(i) Making knowledge accessible to the public.
(ii) Manage and assist with exams and career progression programs.
(iii) Maintaining and updating the government wiki.
(iv) Administering and overseeing the Public Defender Program of the Azalea Isles.

11.10. State Services
(a) This act hereby establishes a Ministry of State Services which shall primarily be charged with:
(i) Oversee Political Party registrations.
(ii) Managing the nation's Electoral District boundaries.
(iii) Leading our Azaleas foreign policy
(iv) Overseeing the Civil Service
(v) Operating and managing the National Guard.
(vi) Protecting and managing wildlife, natural ecosystems, and conservation zones within the city and its surroundings.
(vii) Managing the wild islands surrounding the city island.
(viii) Making knowledge accessible to the public.
(ix) Manage and assist with exams and career progression programs.
(x) Maintaining and updating the government wiki.
(xi) Administering and overseeing the Public Defender Program of the Azalea Isles.

Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage
