The Mayor invites expressions of interest for Commissioner, leading the Free District of Salmonberry's Department of Development.

About the role
The Commissioner will oversee rentals, transport, public works, infrastructure and resource stockpiles, and assist the Mayor with development proposals and district expansion. The role includes working with the Ministry of Urban Development on zoning and assessing whether plots follow the district's zoning theme or qualify as unfinished-construction eyesores under applicable law.

We are looking for someone who can turn ideas into practical projects, organize resources and communicate clearly with residents and colleagues.

Appointment
The Mayor appoints and may dismiss department heads at their discretion. This office also carries membership of the Advisory Council, including its referendum-petition responsibilities. Departmental services will develop as staffing, facilities and authorized funding become available.

3. Usual availability and approximate time you could contribute each week:
Normally UK evenings (6-11pm UK TIME). I'm almost every day expect weekends when I'm normally busy. though I do come on Sunday nights and I play normally 10-15hrs a week.

4. Why are you interested, and what relevant experience would you bring? Building, project management, transport, property management or resource organization experience may be useful. You may include examples of previous work.
I enjoy building but making builds which people can enjoy and really live in. builds which hold a practical use as well as a fun way to interact and socialise.
I am currently working for mud as architect and I have my own rental plots I set up and managed.

5. What would your first priorities for Salmonberry's development be? Describe one practical project and the resources it would need.
Farmers market, pathway to the beach area and some fun beach related activities possible rentable beach huts / beach chalet (such as British beach chalet which are designed like social areas) and food stalls/ beach bar to rent

currently working for mud as architect and I sell crops in my shop and to sprouts.

Depends, currently I'm almost everytime and usually log in whenever I can. If I'd listed when I'm away, it would take shorter. Except for my exam weeks and extraordinary IRL issues.

4. Why are you interested, and what relevant experience would you bring?:
I am interested because I believe in the aesthetic spirit of Salmonberry, a place where everyone can chill and take some time around here also some economic and bureaucratic features would be a cherry on top. As relevant experience I would say I'm a proud entrepreneur who built everything from scratch and -750$ in the beginning of the game, focused on economic aspects.

5. What would your first priorities for Salmonberry's development be? Describe one practical project and the resources it would need.
Stimulate the economy in different ways which first district is not able to do because of the low potential growth in terms of city-planning of large scale projects in terms of land. And enbroaden the activities around the town with adding new features which suits only Salmonberry.

My project would be a horseracing track for Salmonberry:

Why a horseracing track is a good idea?

Legal-side of gambling has got decayed over time and pretty much limited. It would bring joy and excitement to community.
This project would also cause different business ideas and job oppurtunities to rise such as professional stableman, bookmaker etc.

But why in Salmonberry?
Because 1st district is not able to construct a large-scale plan like this. On the other hand Salmonberry has lots of empty plots open for new ideas. Also Salmonberry would be a place where people come to have fun, chill and enjoy the visuality and culture of the town. So bringing a new fun aspect to Salmonberry suits the idea.

I am working for MEA also make cars as a private establishment.
