Preamble: The law has not accurately kept up with advancements in technology, and needs several remedies.
1. Short Title & Enactment
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Industrial Crimes Act”.
(b) This bill was authored by Lysander Lyon.
2. New Crimes
(a) Section 4 of the New Criminal Code Act shall be amended as follows:
(b) Police officers and law enforcement do not commit a crime of electronic sabotage if they use EMP grenades in pursuit of a suspect to disable Autonomous Weapon System devices or other machinery inhibiting pursuit.
(c) Section 8 of the New Criminal Code Act shall be amended as follows:
Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage.

(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Industrial Crimes Act”.
(b) This bill was authored by Lysander Lyon.
2. New Crimes
(a) Section 4 of the New Criminal Code Act shall be amended as follows:
(l) Electronic Sabotage
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time and a fine of $1,000
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) uses EMP grenades to disable or sabotage another person’s machinery, of any kind
(b) Police officers and law enforcement do not commit a crime of electronic sabotage if they use EMP grenades in pursuit of a suspect to disable Autonomous Weapon System devices or other machinery inhibiting pursuit.
(c) Section 8 of the New Criminal Code Act shall be amended as follows:
(c) Failure to Control Radiation
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 15 minutes jail time and a fine of $2,500
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) allows radiation from their property to leak out at any level onto another person’s or entity’s property, including government-owned streets, walkways, or properties
Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage.
