ORDINANCE
TO
AUTHORIZE THE CONVERSION OF FIVE BUSES OF THE FREE DISTRICT OF SALMONBERRY TO ELECTRIC OPERATION
1. Name
(a) This Ordinance may be cited as the "Salmonberry Bus Electrification Ordinance".
2. Conversion
(a) The five buses at the following stops are authorized for conversion to electric operation, with coordinates given approximately as x and z in the main world:
(i) West Farms: −1992, 1623.
(ii) East Farms: −1409, 1605.
(iii) Industrial North: −740, 1676.
(iv) Industrial South: −1073, 1912.
(v) Cove Central: 406, 2671.
(b) The Department of Development shall arrange the conversions and their power supply in accordance with the Government Operating Costs rules.
(c) Any other bus stops present in the Free District of Salmonberry at the time of this Ordinance's enactment shall be disestablished.
3. Funding
(a) $75,000 is allocated for conversion charges, at $15,000 per bus.
(b) Payments for bus conversion shall use lawfully available District2 funds on a one-time basis.
(c) Future or ongoing payments for electricity, generation charges, and/or any substitute payments in lieu of either of those shall be perpetually authorized in an amount not exceeding $200 per bus per day.
4. Enactment
This Ordinance comes into force immediately upon its publication.
