Royal Decree
In a significant step towards providing further rights and freedoms to the people of Azalea Isles, we hereby establish the first constitution of Azalea Isles. The Kingdom of Regalis, considering the growth and development of Azalea Isles, has now decided that the people are entitled to govern themselves entirely, while remaining under the guidance of Queen Eleanora.
1. Establishment of the Constitution
(a) This decree hereby establishes the Constitution of Azalea Isles, creating three branches and new system of governance.
2. Continuation of Government
(a) This constitution shall take effect upon the next scheduled election. The one week prior requirement for candidates shall be exempted for the first election, in order to ensure a fair pool of candidates.
(i) In addition to such, the first election shall only offer half-votes to the voters, meaning that under 8 seats, each voter will have 4 votes. After the first election, it will revert back to whatever the Constitution states.
(b) All Royal Judges will transition into Justices of Azalea Isles.
(c) Unless otherwise prescribed by future law, the current Ministries and their inaugural Ministers shall be:
(i) Minister of Justice, Elaina Thomas (ElainaThomas29)
(ii) Minister of Urban Development: Jebediah Crumplesnatch (Fergie_Foo)
(iii) Minister of Social Services: Matthew Capel (xtub12345)
(iv) Minister of Commerce: Random Intruder (RandomIntruder)
(v) Minister of Events and Culture: Yeet Boy (Yeet_Boy)
(d) Each inaugural Minister shall continue to serve after the next scheduled election, unless they are removed by the Prime Minister and replaced by the according constitutional processes.
