Multi Man (Multiman155), Plaintiff

v.

Carrot Guy
(ThatCarrotGuy1), Defendant

Civil Complaint:

On 10 January 2026, I was peacefully standing in b003. I was suddenly and deliberately attacked by Carrot Guy (ThatCarrotGuy1), who killed me and robbed my lifeless body of $76.88. These actions unlawfully deprived me of my property and violated my rights as recognized in the Guiding Principles.

Parties:

Identify the plaintiff(s); defendant(s); co-defendant(s); and third parties by name.

  1. Plaintiff, Multi Man (Multiman155)
  2. Defendant, Carrot Guy (ThatCarrotGuy1)

Factual Allegations:

Provide a concise statement of the facts giving rise to the claim, including the date, time, and location of the events in question if possible.

  1. On 10 January 2026, Defendant Carrot Guy killed Plaintiff Multiman155 in b003.
  2. After killing Plaintiff, Defendant robbed Plaintiff.
  3. The funds taken from Plaintiff in the robbery total $76.88.
  4. The Defendant, as of the time of this filing, has taken no steps to return the robbed funds identified in Factual Allegation No. 3.
  5. Plaintiff Multiman155 is a lawyer.

Legal Claims:

Specify the legal claims or causes of action being asserted by the plaintiff, such as breach of contract, negligence, or fraud.

  1. Common Law Larceny. Under the Guiding Principles of Civil Dispute, absent "clear and compelling testimony or documentation to the contrary, the person in possession of the property is presumed to be the rightful owner". Additionally, the Guiding Principles of Azalea Law permit compensatory damages to be "awarded by a court equivalent to the loss a party suffered. The amount awarded is based on the proven harm, loss, or injury suffered by the plaintiff" (see also (2) below) and for punitive damages to be awareded "when it is determined that the defendant has acted in a particularly harmful way abnormal of typical situations". Special damages are also authorized when it is "proven that these damages came from the initial action and did result in actual harm".

From these principles, it arises that (1) the law recognizes rightful owner of property and (2) that Courts may provide relief to this effect.

In order to protect the guiding principles on right to property and assess damages, the Plaintiff asks the Court to recognize a common law tort of larceny in line with the Guiding Principles. This tort would consist of the taking of another's property without authorization under the law, and with intent to permanently deprive the rightful owner of that property. Tortfeasors would be subject to payment of damages, in line with the Guiding Principles.

Applying the common law tort to the facts here, the Defendant took the Plaintiff's financial property without legal authorization (indeed, this conduct is prohibited under Criminal Code Foundation Act Section 5(2)), and did not return funds despite it being trivially easy to do so.
  2. Compensatory Damages. Under the Guiding Principles of Azalea Law, compensatory damages are "awarded by a court equivalent to the loss a party suffered. The amount awarded is based on the proven harm, loss, or injury suffered by the plaintiff". As demonstrated in the third factual allegation (as supported by Exhibit P-001), Defendant stole $76.88 from the Plaintiff, a concrete loss suffered by the Plaintiff.
  3. Punitive Damages. Under the Guiding Principles, punitive damages are authorized in circumstances in which a "defendant has acted in a particularly harmful way abnormal of typical situations". Defendant killed the Plaintiff (see: Factual Allegation No. 1; Exhibit P-001) and robbed the Plaintiff (see: Factual Allegations No. 2-4; Exhibit P-001), thus acting in a particularly harmful way that it outside of the normal course of life here in our peaceful isles.
  4. Legal Fees. Under the Damages Reform Act, "[t]he judiciary of the Azalea Isles shall recognize a minimum legal cost of $1,000 per week incurred by parties represented by a lawyer in a trial". Plaintiff Multi Man is a lawyer, and is proceeding pro se. Thus, as a lawyer representing himself in a trial, the Plaintiff is indeed represented by a lawyer, and we thus ask the Court to award legal fees.

Prayer for Relief:

Request the specific relief sought by the plaintiff, including monetary damages, injunctive relief, or other appropriate remedies. Please review the Court Orders, Powers, and Judgments thread for further explanation.

  1. Compensatory damages in the amount of $76.88, plus any further damages proven at trial.
  2. Special damages in the amount of any court fees paid plus any special damages subsequently proven at trial.
  3. Punitive damages in the amount of $50, consistent with the fine for robbery under the Criminal Code Foundation Act.
  4. Legal fees in the amount authorized under the Damages Reform Act.
  5. Any other relief that this Court may deem proper, including (but not limited to) nominal damages in the alternative.

Verification:

I, Multi Man, hereby affirm that the allegations in the complaint AND all subsequent statements made in court are true and correct to the best of the plaintiff's knowledge, information, and belief and that any falsehoods may bring the penalty of perjury.
