This is the official thread for the by-election of a vacant seat in the Parliament of Azalea Isles, occurring August 14 - 21, 2026. For information on the position and process of government, refer to the Constitution of Azalea Isles.

The Parliament consists of 9 seats, however this election is only for 1 seats as to fill the vacancy following the resignation of MP Jebediah Crumplesnatch.

In order to run for office, you need to:

• Be a citizen of Azalea Isles more than one (1) week prior to the electoral period.
• Have a cumulative playtime of at least twenty-four (24) hours and a monthly playtime of at least ten (10) hours at the time voting opens.
• Be not convicted of any crimes with adjudicated punishments that disqualify them from public office in accordance with the law.
• Live in the district they are seeking office in.

If you are running on behalf of a party, please ensure you have the permission of the party to run under their banner.
