TO
Amend the
New Criminal Code Act

Preamble: GAP wasted Parliaments time with a joke bill to whinge at the crown. This bill seeks to actually increase the penalties of crimes.

1. Short Title

(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Real Crime Crackdown Act”
(b) This bill was authored by Anthony Org.


2. Amendments

The New Criminal Code Act shall be amended as follows:

4. Crimes Against Persons

(a) Murder
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $300 fine
(a) First offense: 10 minutes jail time; $300 fine

(b) Second offense: 15 minutes jail time; $500 fine
(c) Further offenses: 20 minutes jail time; $1,000 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) kills another person without being consented or;
(2) kills another person without it being the result of self-defense.

(b) Mass Murder
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 60 minutes jail time; $150 $300 fine per murder
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) commits 4 or more instances of Murder within a 24 hour period.

(c) Assault
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 5 minutes jail time; $150 fine
(a) First offense: 5 minutes jail time; $150 fine
(b) Second offense: 10 minutes jail time; $200 fine
(c) Further offenses: 15 minutes jail time; $250 fine

(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) inflicts bodily harm greater than or equal to three hearts of damage, excluding acts committed in reasonable self-defense or;
(2) threatens imminent harm upon another person, excluding acts committed in reasonable self-defense.

(d) Threats of Harm
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: $10050 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) intentionally communicates a threat to inflict bodily injury or death upon another person, causing the person to reasonably fear for their safety.

(e) Theft
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 5 minutes jail time; $150 fine; restitution of taken property
(a) First offense: 5 minutes jail time; $150 fine; restitution of taken property
(b) Second offense: 10 minutes jail time; $200 fine; restitution of taken property
(c) Further offenses: 15 minutes jail time; $250 fine; restitution of taken property

(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) unlawfully takes the property of another person, especially by use of force, weapons, intimidation, or stealth.

(f) Incitement
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty
(1) If the incited crime is attempted or executed, same penalties as the principal offender.
(2) If the incited crime is not executed, $1030 fine.
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) encourages or provokes others to commit a crime or engage in unlawful conduct.

(g) Blackmail
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 20 minutes jail time; $1,000 minimum fine; $10,000 maximum fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) threatens to cause harm, reveal information, or take adverse action against another person, with the intent to coerce that person into giving money, property, items, services, or otherwise acting against their will.

(h) Brandishing
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: $10050 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) points, or threatens the use of a weapon in a public or non-consensual setting, without lawful justification or self-defense.

(i) Attempted Theft
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 5 minutes of jailtime; $7550 fine.
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) attempts to unlawfully take property from another person, including the use of force, intimidation, threats of harm or stealth.


5. Crimes Against Property

(a) Trespassing
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 5 minutes jail time; $10075 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) makes unauthorized and intentional entry onto the property of another person, legal entity, or government entity, without permission or legal right to do so.

(b) Bank Robbery
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 20 minutes jail time; $1000 fine; full restitution of stolen assets
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) unlawfully takes money, securities, or other valuables from a bank or financial institution, through force, intimidation, or threats of harm.

(c) Larceny
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $500 fine; restitution of taken property
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) unlawfully takes personal property from any government entity.


6. Crimes Against the Government

(a) Resisting Arrest
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: $10050 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) physically prevents or attempts to prevent a law enforcement officer from lawfully detaining or arresting an individual, through force, threats, or obstruction.

(b) Obstruction of Justice
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $500 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) intentionally interferes with or hinders the administration of justice, including but not limited to tampering with evidence, providing false statements, or interfering with the lawful duties of law enforcement or judicial officers.

(c) Corruption
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 30 minutes jail time; $5,000 fine; restitution of all gains from corruption.
(iii) Additional Penalty: barred from running for office for a minimum of one term.
(iv) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) as a government official or employee, abuses their position for personal gain, including bribery, favoritism, or misuse of government resources.

(d) Government Bribery
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 30 minutes jail time; fine equal to bribe value +20%
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) offers, gives, or receives benefits, such as money or gifts, in exchange for influencing the actions of a government official or employee.

(e) Treason
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 40 minutes jail time; $510,000 fine; ban from all government jobs for 4 months.
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) attempts to overthrow or betray the government, assists enemies during a time of war, or conspires to harm the nation’s security or sovereignty.

(f) Unauthorized Company Land Transfer
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: up to 20 minutes jail time; up to $10,000 fine; reversal of plots transferred
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) transfers business or corporate plots without prior approval of the Ministry of Urban Development.

(g) Enterprise Tax Evasion
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; payment of missed taxes + 10% penalty
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) uses private enterprises to evade taxes.

(h) Impersonation of a Police Officer
(i) Offense Type : Felony
(ii) Penalty : 30 minutes jail time; $1,000 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) falsely represents themselves as a law enforcement officer, or claims to have police authority, in order to gain compliance, information, access, money, property, or any other benefit; or
(2) uses police powers without lawful authority, including conducting searches, detaining persons, issuing punishments, or ordering citizens to follow directives under the appearance of official enforcement.

(i) Jailbreak
(i) Offense Type : Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty : 10 minutes jail time; $250 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) escapes, or assists another person in escaping from lawful detention, imprisonment, or custody imposed by law enforcement or a court.

(j) Witness Tampering
(i) Offense Type : Felony
(ii) Penalty : 30 minutes jail time; $1,000 fine minimum; $10,000 fine maximum
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) threatens, intimidates, coerces, bribes, or attempts to influence a witness, potential witness, or party to a legal proceeding with the intent to alter, suppress, delay, or prevent testimony or evidence.

(k) False Police Report
(i) Offense Type : Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty : 5 minutes jail time; $50 fine
(a) First offense : 5 minutes jail time; $50 fine
(b) Further offenses : 10 minutes jail time; $200 fine

(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) knowingly provides false, misleading, or fabricated information to law enforcement, with the intent to initiate an investigation, falsely accuse another person, or mislead police actions.

(l) Terrorism
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty : 30 minutes jail time; $5,000 fine;
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) is part of an organized group whose sole purpose is the commission of Murder, Assault and Threats of Harm.


7. Judicial Offenses

(a) Perjury
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 20 minutes jail time; $500 fine minimum; $5,000 fine maximum
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) knowingly makes a false statement under oath or affirmation.

(b) Contempt of Court
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $1000500 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) willfully disobeys or disrespects the authority, orders, or decorum of a court of law, including interrupting proceedings, failing to comply with court orders, or engaging in actions that disrupt the justice process.

(c) Violation of a Court Order
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: $1000500fine; assets may be seized to satisfy lawful judgment
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) willfully fails to comply with a legal judgment, order, or ruling issued by a competent court of law.


8. Crimes Against Public Order

(a) Unlawful Assembly
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 5 minutes jail time; $50 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) assembles with two or more persons in a manner that disrupts public peace or safety, or when the assembly is intended to engage in illegal activities or incite violence.


9. Financial and Economic Crimes

(a) Criminal Fraud
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: up to 30 minutes jail time; $10,000 fine; full restitution
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) intentionally deceives or misleads another person or entity for financial gain, including false representation, concealment of material facts, or deliberate misstatements intended to deprive someone of property, money, or services.

(b) Financial Institution Tax Evasion
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 15 minutes jail time; up to $5,000 fine
(iii) Additional Penalty: institution may be liquidated if activity is not shown within 30 days of court decision.
(iv) A financial institution commits an offense if the institution:
(1) does not engage actively, either generally, or by not offering related products and services.

(c) Insider Trading
(i) Offense Type : Felony
(ii) Penalty: 20 minutes jail time; confiscation of all gains; $5,000 minimum fine; $25,000 maximum fine
(iii) A person or institution commits an offense if:
(1) buys, sells, or attempts to buy or sell any stock or financial asset while knowingly in possession of non-public information that would reasonably impact the value of that asset; or
(2) provides non-public information to another person for the purpose of allowing them to trade on it.

(d) Embezzlement
(i) Offense Type : Felony
(ii) 20 minutes jail time; restitution of all embezzled assets; $1,000 minimum fine; $20,000 maximum fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if:
(1) while entrusted with control, access, or responsibility over the money, property, items, or assets of another person, legal entity, or government entity, intentionally misappropriates, steals, transfers, or converts those assets for personal gain or the gain of another person;

(e) Stock Manipulation
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: up to 15 minutes jail time; $5,000 fine minimum; $50,000 fine maximum ;confiscation of all gains + 10% penalty
(iii) A person commits this offense if the person:
(1) intentionally manipulates market forces for the gain of oneself or others.


10. Use of Prohibited Items

(a) Selling of Prohibited Items
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $1000300 fine; confiscation
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) sells or offers for sale items that are restricted by law.

(b) Trafficking of Prohibited Items
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $1000200 fine; confiscation
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) transports, distributes, or exchanges restricted items with intent to sell or transfer for profit.

(c) Possession of Prohibited Items
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $100 fine; confiscation
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) possesses less than 6 restricted prohibited items on one's person or in a container on one's person as defined in the Prohibited Items Designation Act.


11. Electoral and Parliamentary Crimes

(a) Electoral Fraud (Misrepresentation)
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 15 minutes jail time; $1,000 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) stands for a political party without their approval or knowledge.

(b) Electoral Fraud (False Voting)
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 15 minutes jail time; $1,000 minimum fine; $10,000 maximum fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) attempts to vote on behalf of another person; or
(2) attempts to vote multiple times.

(c) Coercive Behavior
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 30 minutes jail time; $1,000 minimum fine $10,000 maximum fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) Blackmails, threatens, or applies undue pressure to ensure a person votes a certain way.

(d) Electoral Dissuasion
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 30 minutes jail time; $1,000 minimum fine; $10,000 maximum fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) engages in behaviors that make persons feel unable to take part in an election. Either as a candidate or as a voter.

(e) Contempt of Parliament
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty
(1) Person - 10 minutes jail time; $2,500 fine
(2) Legal Entity - $5,000 fine
(iii) A person or legal entity commits an offense if they:
(1) fail to respond within 48 hours to a Parliamentary inquiry.

(f) Gerrymandering
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 45 minutes jail time; $5,000 fine minimum; $10,000 fine maximum
(iii) Additional Penalty: ban from holding a government position for 4 months
(iv) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) as a Ministry of State employee, intentionally draws district boundaries in favor of a political party or group.
