Gambling Protections Amendment
Preamble: We need penalties that punish gambling operators defrauding their players.

1. Amendment
(a) Section 9 of the NCCA shall be amended as follows:

(g) Gambling Fraud
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: up to 30 minutes jail time; $5,000 fine; full restitution
(iii) A Gambling operator commits an offense if they:
(1) Fail to post gambling odds in a public and visible location; or
(2) Provides inaccurate information about gambling odds.

Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage

Fair Jail to Fine Conversion Act
Preamble: This Act will amend the New Criminal Code Act to comply with judicial precedent and to respect the civil rights of citizens. First it removes two clauses that were deemed ""constitutionally deficient"" and only later re-numbered without any edits. Second it ensures that the crime of identity theft includes the element of intent by removing the ""regardless of intent"" part of the clause. This amendment allows identity theft to be more of a clear crime withs higher punishment due to the intent element.

1. Removing Constitutionally Deficient
(a) Amends the New Criminal Code Act by removing Section 13(a) ""(iii) If a suspect has a resisting arrest charge, they are deemed a flight risk and wave their right to contest"" to clean up a clause already invalidated by the ruling of Aero Nox v. Azalea Isles (2026) CV 25
(b) Amends the New Criminal Code Act by removing Section 13(a) ""(iv) If a suspect is found to be guilty of a crime, while still having a ticket open to contest another crime, the contest shall be invalidated and the suspect will be guilty of the crime they were seeking to contest"" to clean up a clause already invalidated by the ruling of Aero Nox v. Azalea Isles (2026) CV 25

2. Amending Identity Theft
(a) Amends the New Criminal Code Act by replacing ""(1) has the name of an alive individual, that had the name first, regardless of intent"" to ""(1) knowingly copies the name of an living individual who had the name first or""
(b) Amends the New Criminal Code Act by replacing Section 4(j) from ""falsely represents themselves as the individual they represent."" to ""(2) falsely represents themselves as someone else""
(c) Amends the New Criminal Code Act by replacing Section 4(j) from ""(1) First Offense: Warning; immediate change to untaken name"" to ""First Offense: $500 fine; immediate change to untaken name""
(d) Amends the New Criminal Code Act by replacing Section 4(j) from ""(2) Second Offense: $500 fine; immediate change to untaken name"" to ""Second Offense: $1000 fine; immediate change to untaken name""

Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage

Slow the Spread Act
Preamble: With the advent of illnesses in Azalea, this bill adds crimes to punish those who infect others with malice.

1. Short Title and Enactment
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Slow the Spread Act”.
(b) This bill was authored by Wish Coolperson.

2. Definitions
(a) infect: to transmit a virus to another person
(b) actively: not AFK (away from keyboard) via /afk

3. Amendments

(a) Section 4 of the NCCA shall be amended as follows:
(m) Infection with Malice
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 5 minutes jail time; $100 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) infects another person with a transmittable disease knowingly and actively without the infected person's consent

(n) Mass Infection with Malice
(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: 10 minutes jail time; $250 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) commits 4 or more instances of Infection with Malice within a 20 minute period.

(l) Aggrevated Mass Infection
(i) Offense Type: Felony
(ii) Penalty: 20 minutes jail time; $1,000 minimum fine; $10,000 maximum fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) commits 14 or more instances of Infection with Malice within a 24 hour period.

(b) Section 4.d of the NCCA shall be amended as follows:

(i) Offense Type: Misdemeanor
(ii) Penalty: Dependent on repeat offenses
(1) First Offense: 5 minutes jail time; $50 fine
(2) Second Offense: 10 minute jail time; $100 fine
(3) Subsequent Offenses: 20 minutes jail time; $200 fine
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) intentionally communicates a threat to inflict bodily injury, death, or sickness upon another person, causing the person to reasonably fear for their safety.

Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage.
